how do you know it went to sv admins? I posted it on their bimmer challenge fb page for everyone to watch out for this guy.
With social medial it would be impossible for them not to know about it. Here's what the SV Admin's had to say:

"The driver was sent home from Bimmerfest after the session shown in this video. He was with us again this past weekend, and there were no incidents or complaints that we heard."

I just suffered thru the whole video. The guy is such a total knob. Unbelievable. I half-expected to see his left elbow out the window sill on the backstretch as he's dive bombing other cars with no pointbys...

I'm sorry, but as instructor, I cannot get over the fact that this club and the person in the passenger seat would allow passing without a point by in a breaking zone or at the apex.

Novices drive dumb. That's fine. But they don't get to race. This guy was allowed to race.

nice work!!! unfortunate as the guy is embarrassed and we should in no way "personalize this" but there is a strong message to other drivers, instructors, and driving "schools" or "events" that safety is #1 goal. I hope that good comes out of this and hopefully saves lives. We actually should be thanking this guy and parlay the fact that nothing happened but we have the type of driving recorded into a lesson/reminder for all who track. Would really avoid singling out the guy a bad person in any way. Also, at least once a year, most amateurs should get instruction from the PCA or BMWCCA or other car club events where there is an instructor at all levels of driving...this is really what the clubs are designed for first and foremost.

Hooked on driving probably runs some of the safest non-instructor "just to have fun" clubs where coaches are used in every car in the beginner group and as needed in the more advanced groups. I once had a group coach tell me that it was very easy to tell which drivers got instruction from a quality car club, no matter which run group they were in. It makes a difference and is ultimately about reducing risk (which of course can never be 100% eliminated)

no updates yet - looked up username and it looks like he may have changed his name. I wonder if they will be at ACS on Aug 8th.
