2011.75 E90 M3  [10.00]
Out with the 2008... in with the 2011.

And it's done.

Finalized the deal today to trade in my 2008 for a 2011.75 (or whatever they are calling it) M3 sedan... final specs below.

Alpine White
Fox Red Novillo Leather
Carbon Black Leather Trim
6 speed manual
M-Drive Package
BMW Apps/Smartphone Integration
Executive Package
EDC

Apparently it will be a July build and should be here end of August, we'll see about that. I passed on the 220M 19" wheels as I'm not a huge fan, will go aftermarket... same as Competition Pkg, was quoted $5985 + $400 special order fee (insanity) and I'd rather get a set of Eibach springs + other wheels. Talk about a 'Canada tax' ie. ripoff, ZCP is $2500 in the US. Nuts.

Was surprised that they want my 2008 exactly as is on the trade so my 19" Alufelgen SF-71s are out the door along with the black grilles, colour matched reflectors, blackline tails, Eibach springs, etc. No worries, now I get to start fresh.

Now the waiting starts...

lately i've been flirting with the idea of trading in my 2010 e92 for a 2011/12 sedan... hahahah. i would get hosed, but for some reason i can't stop thinking about it.

Well that is clearly because the sedan is better looking than the coupe!

If you're serious get on it though, E90 M3 production ends in October and apparently build slots are getting harder to secure... there won't be a 2012 sedan.

$5895+400 for 7MA (ZCP) is ridiculous. You should definately be able to get a better rate than that. I was quoted $5185+400, but ended up getting $3900+400. Go for some KW's, and lighter aftermarkets for sure. Assembly allocation for ///M cars started this month so you might have it for August. Don't be suprised if it's September.

Yeah, not really bothered... even at $4500 it would have been up in the air. I'm definitely doing Eibach springs again and looking at different rim options. No biggie as it wasn't really on my list of must haves.

Hoping a set of Volks is in my future, hopefully Santa is good to me this year...

Thanks Jason... if work (and wife/kid) ever let up I'll make it out to one of the local meets soon enough! Anything downtown-ish works for me.

With some extra cash applied towards the trade in the discount on the new car was just over 7%. No complaints.

Congrats on the new purchase. I'm glad you were able to make a decision, and seems like you got a good deal on the new build. Now we get to wait together, since I also have a July build!

Curiously, what do you mean by that? Have they started building the July production cars in Munich yet? I called the 1800# on Monday for a status update on mine, but they didn't have a VIN for me yet.

I know personally that my vehicle is either starting production the end of this week, like today, or at the latest the second week of July (week 28 I was told). My order was placed like 3 months ago, I just got my VIN, and my ED date has been moved three or four times which has been very inconvenient. So I'd expect you to recieve yours soon. P.S. seems like there was some turnover at BMW Canada, and at least in my case contact with Germany through BMW Canada in Ontario has been very slow.

There had to have been some changes/issues at BMW CA as of late. I ordered my first E90 on February 21st 2011, and learned shortly after production that they had built the car with the wrong colour and wrong specs. Either a dealer screw up, or an issue with communicating the build properly to Germany.

I didn't learn about this until May 27th at which time the car was being loaded onto the Fidelio. As such, I reordered on May 28th with a July build date. I'm hoping that the car is built soon!

Nice vise,

I ended up working my deal out too. I also got a July build so the car is expected to be here middle of August. I kept my color but, changed int to fox red and went with the comp package.

Did you get a good deal on the comp package?
