**HELP - Limp Mode w/ 8 Cyl Misfire (Have Codes)
Hello Everyone,
Recently I was up near the rev limiter ~ 8K and my car lit up like a Christmas tree - traction control, service engine soon, battery, yellow engine light, etc. I took my 08 M3 w/ 29K miles to the dealer. After a few days all they did was reset the codes and test drive the car. Nothing came back on in about 50 miles of driving, but I am not convinced that all it needs is a reset... Here are the codes they pulled: A834 GWS: Supply voltage too low 9CB5 FRM: Battery Exhausted 5E19 DSC: Engine management: interface 2B26 DME: Throttle Valve monitoring, bank 2 2B28 DME Throttle Valves, test of return springs, bank 2 2B5C DME: Throttle valves fault status, bank 2 2B41 DME: Misfire with cutout, several cylinders, 8, 7, 6,5,4,3,2,1 CF24 Message error status DCS CF1D Message (wheel pressure) CF1E Message (wheel circumferntial velocity) CF17 Message (torque request DSC) CF1B Message steering wheel angle CF18 Message speed A125 CAS: incorrect or implausible signal from engine management So here is explanation my SA and tech gave me, which just isn't sitting right with me: 'Cleared faults. Motor binding from vehicle sitting. Recommend to drive vehicle at various driving conditions to actuate full range of throttler motors' Like i said, all they did was reset the codes and currently there are no lights on... but there must have been something that caused this. Could it be an electrical problem? Any help is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advanced
