JRZ RS1 Coilovers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
JRZ RS1 complete coilovers.

Purchased from Bimmerworld and used for roughly 6 months. Best suspension I have ever owned. Amazing dual purpose set up, if that is what you are looking for.
These are the revised version, so no noise that the early sets experienced.

JRZ RS1 Dampers
GC Street Plates
Urethane rear mounts
Springs Hypercoil 500/800
Helpers and guides
R spring adjusters
Strut sleeve adaptor
Sway links, 2 sets. One brand new, two lengths.

I believe thats everything. You can find all the specs on the board, there are several threads, plus reviews of these amazing dampers.
These are still currently on my car, but are coming off on January 10th.
$3100 CAD.

Awesome set of dampers as well as setup (500/800 rates)! Also a great deal - someone should buy these before they miss their chance. I'm running the same setup - great street ride, awesome track performance!

GLWS!

Yes sir!!!

I would def not be selling them if I was keeping the car. Its by far the best suspension I have had on this car, far superior then Moton SS, Dinan or KW CS Kits I had previously.

GLWS, sorry to hear you're leaving the fold. What are you replacing it with?

Coming from a track set up M3 Why the C4S and not a GT3 or GT3RS? Oh, I would like to get your suspension but I don't think I could sell my Clubsports quick enough to buy yours. Nothing wrong w/ mine but just want to try something different. Thanks GLWS

Any idea if these would be compatible with the 1M? I know the M3 and 1M share most (all?) suspension components, but obviously the weight difference would affect the spring rates...Wasn't planning to buy new shocks any time soon but this is a great deal.

I'd contact Bimmerworld and ask them or maybe Harold@HPA can chime in or help you.

Yes, M3 and 1M suspensions are compatible. They use the same F stock upper spring/damper mounts (as well aftermarket camber plates) and lower strut mounts (1M uses the M3 steering knuckle). The R upper damper mounts also are the same (two cylindrical bushings preloaded by two "washers") as well as the lower damper mounts (1M uses the M3 rear lower control arm).

As for spring rates, are you looking for a street or dual-purpose setup?

No EDC module, you can buy that from Bimmerworld or any other vendor.
I have receipts, everything was purchased from Bimmerworld.
I would say about 8000KM or so.

bump for you. as much as I am going to kick myself in the nuts for not getting this, after extremely careful consideration, I cannot bring myself to spend on a suspension of any kind until my skills warrant it. camber only for now...suspension in a year or so.

and this will probably be the one...just not at this price
