Angel Eye/Halo

I am confused...
Bimmian has 2 sets of this upgrade

1) My Carr
2) Xenesis

There is quite a difference in price between them. When I called them they said I need to get the MyCarr brand for the E90 only. They said it is simply a bulb replacement upgrade. Plug and play with no wiring involved. A 15 minute job each side.

Camaross seems to have all this other stuff i.e. resistor, capacitor wiring etc.

What are the differences in the products and why all the extra DIY steps for Camaross product?

Thanks for any insight.

Hi there,

For the E90 M3, the MyCarr E90 Kit will not work. The E90 M3 uses the same setup as the E92 Coupes and E93 Cabrios (H8 replacement). We have the Xenesis Replacement Bulbs if you want something more affordable or the RD ICE Angel Eyes if you are looking for an LED based module. The MyCarr E90 kit is only for the pre-LCI non-M3 E90 headlights.

I am interested in your HID kit. Why will it not fit the e90 M3 lights? Are they not the same?

Miy Xenisis also didn't fit tightly; Bimmian ended up giving me credit. Camaro's kit is worth the money. Your choice of color temp. from 3k to 30k and LOTS of output. A little more effort to install, but worth it.

From the feedback on this forum, it looks as though most people are satisfied with Camaross's product. Camaross can you PM me a price for the kit with the enclosed set up (6000k).
