The info that your CA can get about your car production status is always the most current. My info was given this morning by the dealer and still the automated system is saying the "no production date set yet".

Ordered MY12 E92 in 8/2/11 and since this morning, still cant track on line or using the automated system. Finally spoke to a live rep and the car has already entered production for a completion date of this Thursday, Sept. 8th. YESSS!!!!

Same here, I have a production # but cant track online. dont know why...

I think that the MY2012 M3 production have not been merged yet with the online tracking system database.

Ha ha, getting a hold of my CA is the hard part! Been stuck in meetings all day. Just got around to trying to chase him down! Will keep you all posted if I find anything out!

I have the car in production already and the ED pick up date approved... nevertheless the ED department cannot generate the ED purchase order yet as they cannot find my production number/VIN in their system. So yes, the suckers are not merged yet anywhere...

Just finished talking to my CA. Still no date information, but they're trying to get my build date bumped even closer. He said I should check back in a few days if I don't hear anything. I'll probably bug him on Friday in that case to give things some time to go through.

i should be thrilled
but i haven't found a buyer for my 2008 M3 yet!

Production started this morning at 7:12AM with an estimated completion date of the 16th

Just like everyone else I can't track it online or thru the automated system. The operator I spoke to wasn't too surprised to hear about MY12 system issues but has no idea when things will start to work properly. It sounds like our only option is to speak directly to an operator to get status updates.
