I had the same thing happen. It is the battery and I had mine replace under warranty BUT my SA said the car had been underdriven since my car is so low mileage. Apparently the car needs to be driven at least 1000 miles a month or the battery is not charged enough. Sometimes a warranty claim will be denied because of this. It sounds crazy but thats what he told me.

Slow clock
Same thing happened to me in my 2008. I drive it about 7000 miles per year. Still under warranty, the battery was replaced without question or hassle.

Clock issue
Happened to my 2009, kept placing the car on a battery tender, still happened. SA accepted the battery tender story and covered the battery. No problems since, so just a suggestion

OP: Lots of feedback on the forum on this issue. You do need a new Battery. Depending on your SA and your relationship, some have approved a Battery Replacement under warranty and some haven't.
Mike Miller, Technical Editor from Roundel advised I get a Battery Tender, I haven't had a problem since. Good Luck, Chris

I had the same problem. I was freaked out at first thinking it's the computer. The SA at first was not willing to cover the battery under warranty but he came around after some crying and pleading. 400 dollars for a new battery is a bit much. I got a battery tender since. Good luck.
