Am I right in believing that Recaro makes the same exact seats but with no airbags? What else are they missing. Also, OEM ones aren't electric right?

I believe the seats are identical to the Recaro Sportster CS (which are available with side airbag and heating as an option...)

Yes, the Recaro Sportster CS is the same seat, sans airbags:

OEM Performance Seats are manual adjustment.

Didn't know that Recaro CS seats are identical to the OEM ones, nonetheless i still think the OEM looks better for some reason after seeing the pics.

Sooooo would you say that these seats provide better support and have helped with your lower back pain?
I'm just trying to find a good excuse to order

i have always been interested in the perf seats since release and haven't kept up with installs. so where are we at now days with the following for install:

heated function: wiring harness & program

side airbags: program

passenger oc3 sensor: did we find a way to retain this and not disable completely through programming? i was thinking one could buy the oc3 sensor pad, have it installed in the passenger seat, and have it programmed. would this work?

Very clean look. I always figured the race seats are so bulky and scary

What about rear seats for E90? I got tan leather interior, would look rather odd with two black performance seats upfront
