A pickup! and vettes never point by....
Rummaging through some video and found this little clip thought might be interesting. Never saw a pickup on the paddock so imagine my surprise and it's clear vettes don't like 4 door sedans coming up on there ass Sorry for the dirty camera, seems more like I was driving through an old attic. Anyway, just bored, would turn down the audio as it's all wind noise, hope i can bring a smile to someones face.

Whenever I am on the track, traffic is expected, and normally, not a problem. However, I love to pass a vette. Nice video, thanks for sharing. First event this year coming up this week end.

April, so you think all the snow will be gone by then. Of course, you could be a M3 snow board. Bad having to go in hibernation for so long. I should talk, I am really pushing the envelope this week end. Here is hoping.

Am really hoping... Been pretty mild thus far. Could always go on a road trip if the urge becomes too strong. Go clock go...

In my experience, the two worst cars for point by's are vettes and Nissan Z's. One time I did a 5 minute stint behind a silver Z06.
Then being in my 330Ci...I get no respect. I have to stay on a high HP car's ass for an entire lap before they figure out my car ain't no slouch. If its a vette, I REALLY get on their ass in the turns and I usually don't fall off too much on the straights.

BS! If Clarkson thinks M3 drivers are cocks..then vette drivers are little cocks with genital warts.

I just had a great two days of open track at VIR - temps in the high 50s low 60s - and a bunch of Mustangs, asortment of Vets, and a few BMWs. Everybody co0perated, and getting around the track was a non issue. Sorry I did not have my camera.
Good to go out for a stretch. vz

Lucky you .
We are buried in snow up North , still a few months to wait for the track season to open . At least we can practice a few drifting moves . My buddies and I have started to exchange our upcoming track season calendars this week so there is light at the end of the snow tunnel . |

Yep, the wait continues. Been shoring up my calendar as well this week. These next 2 months are going to be brutal. Just have to dig through some more videos and to all those out there already running (basterds on the coasts) would appreciate some vids to help the withdrawal. Out of curiosity, what's a typical season for most...(5, 10, 20, 30) events per year??? Just wondering what's a good average... Am thinking 10-15 is good but am curious what others think....

I think I'll get to about 10 weekends but the opposite is true here in TX. I run in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Maybe do one event during the summer...its too freakin' hot. Your just trying to survive when its 105 out by the end of the day.
Here's a video for you...

From the recent VIR HPDE - could not resist keeping vets in my rear view mirror. Mustangs too. Now, don't get carried away, all passed me soon after the camera went click click. It was fun however.
