Enjoy them! The pre wire is perfect right? They BMW tech does amazing work on the wiring.

It looks very well built, but for me it's kind of old fashioned, especially in a car like E9x. This looks way better and has a lot of functions. I've seen it live and the display quality is great.

Haha, I know what you mean. Here we have these kind of temperatures for only a few days a year (unfortunately). But still I don't think that this will make such a big difference. I have to ask the guy that I know what he thinks.

That is too cool, I like that better too. I've seen the ones that go on the far left vent, I'd prefer that. I use the center vent way too often (especially in SC 100 degree weather), but the one at the far left isn't as important.

I thought they were cheaper, but considering the fact that it is plug & play, you get the whole center vent replaced and the display has really high resolution, it might be ok.
