btw is anyone interested in doing a little hiking at paradise? I'm showing a friend around so we're probably going to do one of the shorter hikes up there if the weather is good.

We did =D. The others have the car pix, but I ended up staying a little longer at paradise and went down the back side of paradise road -> hwy 123 -> hwy 410.

The backside of paradise road is fresh tarmac, hwy 123 wasn't shabby either and you get some nice 100mph sweepers on hwy 410, and very light traffic. The view was amazing too.

Oh and tunnels!

A fun drive, but it's definitely better to head out early in the morning to avoid traffic up the hill....dat Volvo though...

Went there today to hike, the weather was perfect. I confirm the road eastbound from Paradise and then north back to Seattle is indeed spectacular. Rocking new LUX H8 160s.

I'm really close on pulling the trigger on these, but after turning up the brightness on my stocks, I'm not 100% sure I want to. I went from the stock halogens (which look much better when the brightness is turned up) to 7500K GP Thunder 2's (as a stop gap), and they look relatively good. I'm also considering, after reading someone else's experience here on M3Post, tossing H11's in to see how they look.

I'd like to see your 160's in person at some point...that will help me make a final determination, I think.

I love LUX's products, and I support them, but that's $200 that could go into another mod. :P
