Broken Engine Mount, again.!! yes, again.!!!
Hi Guys,
I started hearing a strange noise in 1st gear, on hard accelerations just like a popping sound coming from exhaust. Not everytime but once in 10 times maybe. I had a broken engine mount before too but the noise was different that time and now it doesnt happen everytime. Once it happens, it only happens in 1st gear and only on hard accelerations. Sound starts at 4K rmp until redline. Anyways, long story short, I took my car to the dealer this morning and they confirmed that it is a broken engine mount. This is the 2nd time that a mount is broken on my car. Tech at the dealer said, this has started to be a common issue lately. I just wanted to give you guys an information that can be useful in the future. If you hear a strange noise only in 1st gear and only on hard acceleration and like a popping sound, it is most probably a broken engine mount. |

It looks like your car is lowered in your photoshoot..
Either way nice ride, and try to file a complaint for poor workmanship if they can't come to the bottom of why this has happened not once but TWICE! |

When first was replaced, did you note the position of broken mount? Is it the brand new mount that broke again? If so, might have been a poor installation and just bad luck on a single mount (the first broken one).
Or that could just be a systematic problem that is braking your mounts and everyone should get scared and paranoid!!!! |
