Just had to bump this thread. Now you got me looking at refinishing my C20's in Brushed Titanium. Looks so nice.

Anyone have experience sending wheels back to HRE for refinish? PM me if necessary

I know there was one guy on here that sent his wheels in for a brushed tinted refinish about a year ago. I don't remember who it was off the top of my head. They'll do a refinish for you, I'd just give them a call directly and get the scoop.

Your wheels pretty much sold me on the finish. I wanted Brushed Tinted, but I think I like the darker tone better. I think it'll definitely flow really well with Sparkling Graphite. It never has a bronze-ish hue to it, does it?

The thing is, my wheels are in still very good shape, so I'll probably wait until at least I need new tires (also in good shape)

I saw some brushed titanium wheels on HRE's gallery that had a funky bronzed sorta hue. No, these never look like that in any light. They're just a raw dark silver color which I guess sums up titanium.

Yep! That's exactly where I saw them too and it made me wonder a little. Dang these photographers trying to be all artsy.

Well I'm definitely sold on this finish for sure. Maybe I should just go do a few burnouts to speed up the tire wear process

Thanks! I really do like them as is too. So far I've gone 1 month without modding, trying to make it to the end of the year haha.

If anyone is curious, the quote was $300 to refinish to Brushed Titanium, and $100 for assembly and balance. That's per wheel btw.
