For a daily driver 4-door, it doesn't get much better than the M3. But who dreams about 4-doors??
So, forget about whether it is practical or not...my dream car would be the McLaren F1. Cannot imagine a more impractical but totally cool car despite its age. Agree with others though...for modern cars, I suspect the F458 will be choice. |

+1.
That, or if I started caring about what being too conspicuous, the Brabham BT92. Those people who think a Gallardo would make a poor daily driver and advocate a 350Z or Mini, I think are completely missing the idea of this post. If I could have ANY CAR IN THE WORLD, those will be the last on my list. And that's because I could have them today if I wanted - but I don't have even the slightest desire to own them. As long as it keeps the rain away, can fit all season tires and has a little room for the occasional grocery, it's a go with me. I'd absolutely love to take a Gallardo to Home Depot... |

FP Blue,
I like your taste. I have a black on red 2009 E92 but as a daily driver I'd definitely trade it in for a DBS. Key word being "daily." As much as I'd love to own all the other cars mentioned above, I'd be too worried parking it anywhere to drive it out of the garage... |

I would just be happy with an E90 M3 in Jerez Black w/FR extended and DCT.

with so many hot cars out there this is a tough question...but my top 3 are
M3 Evo IX GT-R being a lucky M3 owner, Im going to try and see if I can get my hands on a second hand Evo 9 in good conditions ..GT-R is too much for me for now, unfortunately , here in Europe it sells for over 90,000 euros...although the M3 with many options goes for around the same price, or even more..crazy!!! |

Whats up with everyone naming race spec models for their 1 and only dream daily driver?
I'd choose an Aston V8 Vantage. More than enough power to get to work, but not nearly as hyper as some of the cars listed so a bit more practical.

I'm gonna be modest and stick to a 1997 Honda Civic
Just Kidding. Seriously, I'd pick a tuned up S2000 or a E30 M3. I love the handling on those cars really has that go-kart feel. Some other choices would be the GT3, C6 Z06, DBS, or GT-R. Maybe a 370Z Nismo if the price is right. |
