My wife has one on her IS350 and it is great. For those of us in hot, sunny places those things are fantastic.

I'm not getting this option since I plan on getting my windows tinted...if I wouldn't get them tinted then I would have gotten it to keep the sun out a bit more...

Oz can I request the next video??

Please open the door and then close it. Then open it again, pause 3 seconds and then close it.

Did you find the M3 door was faster than the other doors that you have owned?

Did you get the turbo power lock option?

Come on T, easy. Personally I am interested in all aspects of the M3, even if it is not an option I would order personally. I do know these things can be a blessing in really hot climates like down under. Having the rear sunshade over there says absolutely nothing to me about what kind of fellow, driver nor enthusiast that Oz is.

I had not seen a blind video so figured it could help some people and the inevitable future questions about it.

The blind is a great idea in hot climates, it is kind to the skin and comfortable for rear passengers and should help protect the interior, I always put up a front blind when I leave the car in the sun, very handy just pressing a button for the rear.

I have decided I will not get any tint, the blind is great for privacy and the side windows have sufficient tint to keep me happy.

Rear shade

It seems to leave a gap at the top. Is that bothersome?

I must be too old, I really don't get the drifting thing at all.

Very smart perspective. I added it at the last moment to my order because it was so awesome on my 06 330i. The rolling action is smooth as silk and quiet. I never tinted due to having the rear blind (and sides on the sedan). Gave the car some extra class. Can't say enough good things about them for the price. Only reason I hesitated in the beginning was I ordered a coupe. But I can tell you, it's pretty humiliating for the guy tailgating you when you roll it up and hit 140-150 like it's nothing. Did that to a guy one time and he caught up with me at the next town at a red light, instead of being angry, he nearly started worshipping my car lol. I couldn't shut him up

I guess I do need to explain my previous comment. When you view the video of the OP and then click on the menu button, it shows about 15 other videos. One of the videos is of a guy in a BMW doing some drifting at a racetrack. After watching it, it just looked silly and pointless to me. For me, it's a lot more fun going fast on the track, not hanging my tail out on every corner. To each his own I suppose, but I don't get the thrill of drifting.

I didn't mean to hijack the thread. The rear sunshade looks cool, I'm glad I got it.
