So not one DCT owner actually uses the "selector" to manually select the DCT gear they want...Really? I know I can't call it a "shifter" because the M/T guy's get really upset. Ride with a DCT owner who likes to drive some time. I used the D-mode coming home from the dealership, never used it again. Personally, I don't care what transmission you choose, I thnik we can agree that the M is a great car.

No what he's saying is most people use the paddles - I used the gear selector a bit in my 135i but i felt like a poser.

Bottom line is, real men use stick.

(in reference to the picture on post #23) Terrible looking shifter option.....Sorry. I totally get the need for more shifter options, but that looks kinda "droopy".

The stock knob looks 10000000x better than that thing lol

Just get the Tri Color Stitched boots from IND and call it a day
