Very intrested in ordering these tires (19 inch stock size) but I am wondering those of you who have these tires is the noise level really bad? i will not be tracking the car but will be doing some spirited driving, it is not my daily driver and don't mind a little road noise for a better performance but not to the point that it sounds like something is wrong with the car. I am also considering the RE-11. thanks in advance.

Road noise is definitely more audible vs. PS2, but completely acceptable. Take a look at the charts from TireRack comparisons. Not sure if they are on the same scale between the two classes of tires.

Extreme Performance (AD08, RE-11...)

Max Performance (PS2, Eagle F1...)

Road noise is slightly higher, but good tradeoff for a better looking tire (IMO) and more direct steering feel with the stiffer sidewalls.

Thank you excellent review. I think i'll try the AD08 a little less expensive than the RE-11.

Road noise is not bad at all

I ran these tires before, took them off because i ordered too big of a rear tire. I switched over to Michelin Ps2's and what a god damn dissapointment. The ad08 makes the steering response amazing and has so much grip its mind blowing. Ill have my new set of ad08s in proper sizes put on tomarrow and I truly can not wait!

Do it and never ever look back, theres no comparison in my eyes here.

Tirerack now carries 275/35/19 AD08s, before they only carried 270/30/19 or 295/30/19. The 275/35/19 is a nice fit for the rear.
