So DPE wheels featured me on their site YAY.... this was my photo...

Great right? I felt honored and they even gave me credit then I saw this photo right below it.....

If you didn't notice, the second photo was not taken, edited, or anything by me. DPE took the liberty to edit a photo that I've never seen and edit to "look" like my editing, and they even watermarked it! Notice the water mark is a straight cut out of my own photo

They didnt blend it in well enough.....

WOW.

DPE you guys are cool, I just gave you guys a shout out right back...

That is certainly strange...however they did give you credit so who cares really. Maybe they thought it was your pic that you forgot to mark.

Umm they should be since the rear is wider than the front...its the concave look of things even on ZCP OEM wheels

Guys.. that's not his car. He is the photographer.

I do like the wheels, just not a fan of the "reverse carbon" and the extremely dark tail lights.

About the pics / site.

The owner of DPE is real respectful about photography & its property. I've sent him pictures multiple times he always asks who's the photographer & if he has permission to publicize.

BTW those are some sick wheels. The HRE P40s are sick, but the concavity is shown alot more in these IMO.

You take some very clean photos so I would see it as an honor but why not contact DPE direct and ask them about it? You'll get a more direct answer than asking on the forums.

The pictures are on their blog, not website. The second picture they said what they did was they took your picture and just cut the right side of the picture out so the wheels are more in view.

That second photo is poop.. I feel you, if some one put my name on a lame soft, washed out shot with some random dudes head in it id probably cry about it too... Thats why I'm not a photographer, just a dude taking pictures... If you want credit then deal with it.. DPE is showcasing their wheels not your picture...

He probably doesnt feel "honored" since the picture they used is of inferior quality than what he usually puts out.

Kind of like people putting bbs center caps on replicas. It is sort of a compliment but someone who doesnt know might mistake the quality of BBS because of it.

Yea you can definitely tell that the 2nd pic isn't from jzhang.

BTW I know I asked you about this already in the original thread w/ all the pics of MFEST but what camera/lens did you use to take that pic? (The 1st one of course lol)
