Question I have for track gurus out there...We see no new change to the steering like the E46 Competition Package did...do you feel this is because with the new wider track & lowing of the Competition Package, that the steering inadvertedly also is positively effected, thus not having to change steering ratios?

Can anyone speculate as to how the competition pkg will change the ride of the M3? Is this something that would appeal more to the track guys?

I drove through downtown LA yesterday and I can imagine what it would have been like. Yes, while I want M3 performance I don't want it at any cost including comfort. In my case the car will never see the track so I think of it as more of a GT.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Also, very curious about how the pricing will be sorted out. In the ordering guide both ZCP and ZTP list EDC as included. Obviously they can't equip the same thing twice. So in theory, based on the order guide, ZCP/ZTP should be cheaper when specc'd in tandem. I would guess at least $3k-$3.5k. |

When can we expect 2011 cars on the lot here in the states? Now this is a hard decision...2010 or a 2011...the competition package sounds like it would be worth it just for the wheels alone

Additionally, with the 359M style there's an OEM rim that looks good to my eyes; so good in fact that it may spare me having to go aftermarket. |

Why would there be a ZCP module? ZCP doesn't have anything software related that's not already available in other packages. Also, EDC is available in ZTP so I can't see why it wouldn't take. Weird. |
