Hotels in Munich for Euro Delivery
I am headed to Munich in October to take delivery of my new E92M.
I am hoping to get some recommendation for hotels that are close to Welt and are fun but cost affective as well. Thanks in advance! |

I stayed at the holiday inn Munich city centre
Was a 5-10 minute walk from the hoffbrauhaus, and marienplatz (where you can find not only some sites to see, but the marienplatz train station which goes directly to the olympiapark welt stop in roughly a 10 minute train ride) They also have underground monitored parking for a fee daily. Was easy, Hotel was 100% renovated and new. Comfy bed.

Forgot to add, the hotel was about 15 minutes from the airport (10 euro cab ride)

Looks like your delivery date is the 17th so you may be picking up and driving out that day but it would be fun to run into another US euro delivery recipient while I'm there...let me know what your schedule looks like. |

Brad, I'll be doing a factory tour on the 17th at 11:30 am, and my pickup is also on the 18th at 9:30 am, so we'll probably be following each other around.

seldon80, we have the exact same schedule! My factory tour is at 11:30 on the 17th and then I'm heading to the museum after that...and of course the pick up on the 18th at 9:30. SamS and I are going to try to touch base while we are in Munich, we should all get together to celebrate!

Hilton was great, right off the S1: walk off the plane, onto the train, off the train, up the steps into the lobby. Took 10min to get to the welt, was within walking distance of everything and the night manager's best friend's dad is one of the top 4 execs at BMW. He'll take GREAT care of your car overnight.

You need to stay in motel one in germany.
http://www.motel-one.com/uk/index.html Parking was about 5 euro plus room are about 59 euro per night. It ok for what you need. Most of them had underground parking. Good luck and enjoy.
