Any way to default to D4?

When I start my car, it always defaults to S4 mode. I can of course hit M and it will go into the exact mode I programmed in, but I do not always remember to do that. That causes me to really wind out first gear when I forget I am in S rather than D mode.

Any way to make D default?

US spec cars default to S mode on start-up. No way around this that I know of.

And I guess there is not way to get M mode to start up by default either? That would also solve the problem of the car starting in the exact mode I want.

No, that'd make too much sense.

In Korea, the cars default to D2. Perhaps the dealer can change the default setting?
