I love top gear, and i am a member of finalgear (great place). I have seen every season of top gear lol. Im nuts. btw, for those who watch top gear on bbc america, bbc america broadcasts cut down versions of top gear. They are currently showing seasons 6/7/8 while the latest is 12. Anyone else go on finalgear?

Cue the indignation caused by someone not bowing down to the 'almighty' c. Get over yourself. If you'd bought something that was good for something other than a drag race, maybe you wouldn't feel the need to defend it with name-calling.

Looks like it did 1:25.----something. Just missing the tenths. They should have done a new time for the RS4 and C63. Last edited by M3WC; 12-01-2008 at 12:50 AM.. |

actually 1 25.3 for the M3 sedan is an awesome time since the version they had was the Manual one with DCT i would say its gonna be half a sec off that time. Probably even faster around the track if it was a coupe with cf roof

Yeah, about the E90's handling. EVO mag did their car of the year testing, and liked it better than the coupe. The author claims that they pressed BMW as to what was up and the engineers finally admitted that there were some small, late stage chassis tweaks done to the E90, presumably based on things they learned after the E92 was already finalized. Take that for what its worth. Chances are if there were any such changes they may have already been incorporated into the coupes at some point. BMW is pretty quiet about stuff like that.

I always believed that the E90 chassis is more aerodynamically correct. E36 4 door M3 had that characteristic, that is the reason BMW GT racing in IMSA switched from E36 2 door to 4 door. The car performed faster laps on the racetracks.
