It's factory 2009.
While browsing some other forums, another person had this problem after he updated his maps. I have new maps on a usb but wanted to resolve this issue first.

I will try loading new maps this weekend and see if it solves the problem.

Something happened when the cable was connected, the only way this would happen is if the navigation fsc certificates were disturbed or if the navi unit is not actually from this vehicle. Voice going out at the same time confirms this.

Who attempted to code the car? Maybe have them try and resolve this. We should be able to fix that remotely without issue.

Thank you for the input Mike. I will try loading new maps and fsc code and see if it solves it.

Unfortunately this will not solve your issue, but good luck.

Update: The battery condition has the 'black' indicator "Insufficiently Charged" and a battery test showed "bad battery".
Will update after I get a new battery, but that would explain why it comes back after driving a while, charging/power issue.

I just saw this thread and was about to tell you your battery need to be replaced. The car sounds like it is powering down components to maintain startability. Driving longer trips helps the battery condition to recover and then it becomes available. Next time try leaving the car running while coding, just to be safe. Do not leave the car running during programming though, ie DCT or DME programming, that will cause an entirely new set of problems.

Got a new battery installed and coded.
The previous battery IBS cable was disconnected and the vent tube was missing.

The problem still exists, unfortunately.
