Angry ///m1 front bumper question

Quick story, my friend borrowed my week old m3 crashed it. Now the the front bumper is mangled. BMW said they would replace the front bumper with an OEM m1 bumper as long as it is a direct fitment.

Does anybody know if the m1 bumper if its a perfect match?

I've tried searching online and have not had much luck finding the answer.

It will take some modification to fit. And you would think BMW would know that. I believe the intake duct work is the main issue......GL...............Phil

It is not a direct bolt-on.

Also, THIS is an M1:

Thank you. Looks like they would just have to mod the air ducts.

Not sure if you realize that the 1M bumpers from ltmw are an OEM M3 bumper molded with a 1M bumper. It's not a matter of simply installing a 1M bumper on an M3.
