Deleted: All Cats and resonator and added h and x pipe ala Akrapovic

Hey Guys,

So I dont have the video yet as I had to come straight to work, but I had a pipe made from the headers to the stock muffler. Basically it is exactly how the Akrapovic Pipe looks like (not exactly but kinda like the ugly sister). H-Pipe first and then x-pipe with no cats or resonator. Absolutely no drone. Actually if you arent accelerating you cant even tell there is anything different at any rpm.

The sound is exactly what I was looking for. The "volume" is almost the same as stock, but it is very high pitched (not sure that makes sense). I am going to get a video to show exactly what I mean.

Here is a crappy pic I took with the phone. You can atleast see where the "h-pipe" is located.

what did they do with the o2 sensors?

they are still there...aa ecu so i dont get the check engine light

I am getting my cat delete pipes for my AA x-pipe Tuesday, so I will be running no cats, with resonators, and the stock exhaust. It should sound great.

I just bought a stock OEM mid pipe with just the secondary cats deleted. Looking for this result on a lower level.

Yeah the muffler shop nearby has a mandrel bending machine so it is pretty close to what you could buy from a brand name (welds arent as nice though)...

What size of the pipe did you use?? Diameter The stock Diameter is 2.40 inches.

Why doesn't the Check Engine Light come on? is it broken?

sorry to be a pain , but this would mean AA has a software that bypasses the O2?? or is this true for all softwares??
