Andre,

The OEM wheels are actually painted so YES, very easy to strip off back to the machine look. If it was powdercoated, then it would be way harder.

***UPDATE***
Latest In Service complete today 2/25/11-oil change, standard scope, differential oil changed, spark plugs changed, and microfilter service. The current mileage is now: 30,078 miles. The warranty/free maintenance expires on this BMW 8/1/2012 or 50,000 miles.
