Might be a little much imho, but I like the semi-stealth aspect of the M.
I wish there was some 3-stripe trim on the interior somewhere tho...

I'd say yes, if you could remove them after a year or so once you got tired of them.
My dad has M colored pinstripes down the side of white E46 M3. They look awesome.

Unless your car will be used for marketing I don't think adding any M stripes will look good. Our M3 project car is going in for some custom vinyl work next week.

I live in Joburg and am curious - are you going for the M3 Convertible to replace your 335i, or a Coupe? I have an M3 Convertible on order for July with all the options, but with the latest price increase this is going to cost R940k - for that money a nearly new M6 Convertible is an option. I have an opportunity to by an M-Sport 335i Convertible at the old price, of R30k and I given the altitude am starting to wonder whether I should just take the 335i and keep R310k - which will probably be the depreciation on the M3 in the first 18 months. Since you own a 335i and you are switching to an M3 was wondering what your thoughts are. |

IMHO, I think they should be saved and used for a lightweight or CSL. Remember the E36 lightweight?

What ever floats your boat man, IMO I think for the street it may a little too much "HEY LOOK OVER HERE, YEAH YOU , LOOK AT ME"
