The E39 M5 filming the "land speed record" car was our local South African M5 advert. It was even shot locally on one of our dry pans

Absolutely beautiful, I was expecting to see an m5 go breezing by but when that didnt happen I figured out what was going on.

I remember seeing this ad five or so years ago. I absolutely loved it then and I still do now. I thought it was so clever and funny. Too bad they never aired it in the US.
