Michelin Pilot Super Sport 2011 E90 M3

Hey guys,
I am replacing my stock continental 265/35/19 and 245/35/19's with the new PSS. The only issue that I am having is that Michelin makes a 245/35/19 for the front and they don't make the 265/35/19 for the rear. Do you all think that it will be an issue if I go with a 275/30/19 for the rear? Please respond soon as these are coming in the next day or two. I am primarily concerned with TPMS issues but any info would help. I contacted several retailers and all of them tell me that the PSS is not available in the 265/35/19 or the 275/35/19. Everyone swears that the 275/30/19 wont be an issue in any regard. Help please!

Not sure where you are looking but the PSS is available in 275/35/19... I'm running them on my car currently and they are available via Tirerack. Personally I would upsize front and rear and go with 255/35 and 275/35 as mentioned previously in this thread.

Anyone runs with F255/35ZR19 R295/30ZR19 on M3?
If anyone does, could you tell me your wheel brand and offset?

295/30 fits on the rear on my RAC RG63 (10x19 ET22). I run 275/30 up front (9x19 ET22). Tires are Yoko AD08, they run pretty wide as well.

Thanks for the Help!

Thanks for the help guys. I found the 275/35/19 PSS for the rear and I am going with the 255/35/19 PSS for the front. Thanks for the advice and Tire Rack really has their stuff together, took me about 5 minutes to complete my order, I ordered the tires at 12 today and they will be at the installer by Friday morning, only cost 5 bucks more per tire to have them expedited. I'm so glad that I didn't listen to the idiot from Discount Tire who tried to tell me that the PSS didn't come in a 275/35/19. This forum is great!!!

My car came with PS2 tires and I just recently changed the rear tires to new PS2. Seem that PSS is better than PS2 and I am thinking to change the fronts to PSS when they wore out. Is it OK to have PSS fronts and PS2 back? Obviously I want to eventually change the back tires to PSS too.

As long as you aren't doing any demanding performance driving or mixing tires on the same axle, yes it is fine.

Hi, do you reckon 245/35 f & 265/35 r on 19" zcp wheels with zcp suspension, with 12mm spacers all round would fit

255/35 f & 275/35 r pss installed on zcp wheels? Including 12mm spacers?

I have a 2009 E93. Just replaced the rears with PSS (lasted 8000 miles) this weekend and kept the PS2's on the front. No issues.

are the pilot super sports more squared off at the shoulder like ad08s or re-11 or are they rounded off like the ps2's.

Not as square as RE-11 or AD-08. I wouldn't call it rounded though just not as square

I don't recall the PS2... it's been a while since I had them on the car. If memory serves me, I would say similar but maybe slightly more square.

Yes? Looks like the pss is similar to the re-11 but not as square as the ad08. Hard to tell.

Definitely not as square as the RE-11, pictures aside. I have had both on the car over the last 6 months and the RE-11 is noticeably more square than the PSS, IMO.

Square is somewhat relative to wheel to rubber size. Here's stock zcp and 295/30/19:

I assume you're on OEM 19" wheels with no spacers? Feedback compared to PS2 in 245f/265r? Thanks,
