Anybody run 265/35/19 up front?
I installed 295/30/19 rear 265/35/19 front on Forgestar CF10's and the front rubs the liner pretty bad. I'm not that low IMO, should I have gotten 265/30's?

What they said ^^.
When you increase the OD of the front tire from stock size at all you run the risk of rubbing. Depending on tire brand, the 265/30 295/30 setup is closer to stock rolling diameter.

Although I agree with all of you on the 30 series I do recall 30 series tires ride like crap IMO. 35 series and 40 series IMO rides much better as it should.
But OP 30 series will get rid of the rubbing.

I actually run a 275/30 19 up front on a +25 offset wheel---no rubbing.

Agree more sidewall = more compliant ride..the 30 series has an anemic sidewall IMO..and for front tires?..I want as much meat on the tires as possible, for the sake of road hazards

Another issue with 30's up front is that the car will ride lower up front and will be more susceptible to scraping on driveways and obstacles due to the smaller OD. Smaller OD also compounds the problem aesthetically by introducing more front wheel gap.

Thanks for the replies. I talked to Tire Rack and they are working with me as best as they can. I guess I'll try my luck with 265/30/19.
Could a really effed up alignment cause rubbing as well? I just installed the coilovers and the alignment was -1.5/-2.0 with even toe up front before install and I have no idea what settings are on it now. I am getting the car aligned this week, but have driven it briefly to see what the tires and shocks felt like. And it rubbed a lot. It even rubbed in the rear, which surprised me since I know lots of folks run 295/30/19 rear and I have about a finger gap in rear. |

Don't run a 35 profile... the 30 fit perfectly. My rubbing wasn't along the top, it was on the liner behind the tire (facing the rear of the car), would likely rub even stock. Tirerack hooked me up with 30 profiles and cured me.
