are you going to get an iphone 3g ?
hey guys if you don't know tomorrow is the WWDC and apparently apple is going to introduce the new iphone.
its going to have: - 3G  - GPS - more space and some sources say it going to be cheaper than the original iphone ( if you get AT&T) will you go and buy and iphone, if you have one already are you going to get the new one ?

It's not going to have real GPS, but A-GPS is plenty good enough for what the vast majority of people want/need. I really wanted to get the original, but there was no way I was paying $600 for a phone that was a downgrade speed wise. (I've had a 3G Blackjack for like 18 months) A big touch screen and sweet UI isn't enough to make up for hardware inadequacies. The new model should fix that and I'll be all over it. PLEASE let it have copy/paste that's my only wish now.

yeah seriously, ive heard dozens of release dates. the big word is that the 3g iphone will be available for purchase today, the 9th (same day as conference). can anyone clarify this?

GPS is all i'd really use it for. Personally I think EDGE is fast enough. I am happy with my iPhone already.
