UPS Uniforms

Government Warning regarding purchase of UPS uniforms:

There has been a huge purchase, $32,000 worth, of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms on eBay over the last 30 days. This could represent a serious threat as bogus drivers (terrorists) can drop off anything to anyone with deadly consequences! If you have ANY questions when a UPS driver appears at your door they should be able to furnish VALID I.D.

Additionally, if someone in a UPS uniform comes to make a drop off or pick up, make absolutely sure they are driving a UPS truck. UPS doesn't make deliveries or pickups in anything, except a company vehicle. If you have a problem, call your local law enforcement agency right away!

TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY! Tell everyone in your office, your family, your friends, etc. Make people aware so that we can prepare and/or avoid terrorist attacks on our people! Thank you for your time in reviewing this and PLEASE send to EVERYONE on your list, even if they are friend or foe. We should all be aware!

It's a variation of a hoax that started about 3 years ago.

Whether it is true or not, it behooves everyone to keep their guard up. It is simple to ask for ID from anyone that comes to your door, be it UPS, FedEx, Postman Pat, or the utility companies. If more people checked then the terrorist would seek other, softer targets. If EVERYONE checked then the terrorist wouldn't make the attempt. And remember, a terrorist isn't necessarily an Arab and terror comes in other forms other than bombs: rape, murder, grievous bodily harm. When in doubt, keep 'em out.

Would a terrorist really just target a business? What if a terrorist dropped of a dozen bombs in a neighborhood. How much terror would this act produce when they all go off? Imagine you're in your back yard and suddenly you're rocked by an explosion. Then a few minutes later another. Then another. Then another. Wouldn't you be a bit frightened? Then you turn on the TV and find out that, not only did a dozen bombs level part of your neighborhood, but a dozen neighborhoods elsewhere in the area got hit as well.
