GTS Exhaust
Edmunds says the GTS Titanium exhaust is manufactured by Boysen.
Anyone know more about their products other than sporadically appearing as OEM for Porsche? |

if it is the Boyesen i know they make reeds and reed cages for 2 stroke race bikes. i have used there products in the past when i raced 2 strokes. i know use 4 stroke engines so they don't have reeds they have valves. Boyesen also makes a product called the quick shot which lets more fuel in. some other stuff too but never for a car have i seen unless it was a one time gig, or a different company with similar name

BMW Announced Arvin Meritor as the official exhaust system for the GTS...
The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust is only on the M3 GT4 race car, not the GTS. Great White claims that it is actually made by a company called "Light Weight" No one fucking knows which exhaust this car actually has.

Fact is the GTS Exhaust is not from them, since the GTS exhaust is a high end product |

I think SCOTT has to answer some questions:
Who does the M3 GTS coilovers? KW, Sachs or some other? Who does the M3 GTS exhaust? Akrapovic, Arvin Meritor, Boyesen, Light Weight or some other? |

what of the articles floating around here said that the coilovers are made by KW. i'm still unsure about that exhaust though.

Eberspaecher and Boysen have been used on BMW cars for many years throughout the range. I have no idea what they use on the GTS but i'd like it to be Eisenmann.

As quoted from Edmund's Inside Line, 7/14/2010
"Much of the acoustic insulation has been chucked into the dumpster and the titanium, low-backpressure Boysen exhaust is extra resonant, so we hear so much more of the V8's voice as it seeks the 8,300-rpm redline." |

Boysen, see for yourself:
https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1112284 The GTS is a 4.4 stroker S65, so rev limit probably reduced slightly to account for the longer stroke. It's peak power is claimed at 8300, perhaps that is the limiter?
