Any pics from the event?

Here's one of the M3 after I got into Calgary!

It's so much worse in sunlight... also I had bugs coming out of the driver side hood vent.

Looks so awesome Albert, wow. The drop looks great too.
Thanks Glenn , you should have flagged me down for our own mini-meet since I worked today. Disappointed that I missed it, hope it was a good time. Still have to hook up for the MDM shirt . I am unfortunately super busy starting about two weeks ago with work and sports but we all have to meet up sometime soon!

Hey Guys,

If anyone is interest in the new Dinan intake I have a connection that Albert and I both use so I can get it for $964 Cdn + ship ($15).

The intake replaces the throat that connects to the main plenum (carbon fiber now) and also has a grossly large oiled air filter.

PM me if you need any details.

Yeah, I am not getting the Dinan intake.

I am just letting others know.

The High flow AA filter is an easy mod and is $30 USD. My kinda mod

That said I am done modding. Seriously, I am done.

Lots of stuff was bought like 2thdr, over several months or in my case 8 months.

As you know Ken, I am too busy these days paying for car damage courtesy of the City of Edmonton Traffic and Road System.

Yeah, new mod for me, the scratch and dent mod followed by the Adult temper tantrum. Definetly NSFW behaviour there.

Hit something on the road at the Calgary Trail construction area this mornng. Never saw it all I heard was a bang.

Scratch and small dent on passenger rear door. $1600 mod, no hp gain but I am supporting the local bodyshops.

Buy local I always say.

It's already booked to get fixed but man, so frustrating. Hard to own a nice car in town. If I do something fine but when your are a victim or a road Hazzard, really crappy.

I guess it could have been worse. My GF is like "that's not bad at all, I was expecting a huge dent" I'm like "It is dented and it is bad, what d'ya mean'

Chicks don't get it.

Did you take it to Modern, Glenn? When will it be ready to terrorize the streets again?

Nay, gonna get it fixed at Dougs Place. Got it booked already and will be taken care of in a couple weeks.

Modern is booking for August already. Screw that, it'll be snowing by then.

Not gonna pay more for the job and wait longer.

We'll see how Doug's goes. They are a certified BMW repair facility too.

Anyone know an owner of JB M3 who had it "stolen" and then wrecked? They are working on one there now and have a ton if $$$ into the repair. Damage to the entire underside of the car.

Funny, didn't think you could steal our cars.

Hey guys,

I am from Edmonton, and thinking of purchasing an E90 M3 DCT w/navi. I was just wondering what type of discount I can expect from the two dealers in town here? I have bought a couple of BMW's in the past so hopefully its worth something.

If you dont mind letting me know how much discount you got on your M3's that would be great. If you dont feel comfortable posting it on the board, feel free to PM.

Thanks for your help. Just want to arm myself with more info before I head over and strike a deal.

It seems that from reading the posts that Calgary BMW would be a better bet for you. Hell, if you are buying off the lot, I am not sure that anyone can beat Brian Jessel in Van.

Prob nothing to be honest.

Edm BMW is a tough nut to crack and 2thdr is right and he is a very good customer to them.

Bavaria is a weird one. Some hit and miss sales there. Not sure.

I bought my car last fall at Calg BMW and got a $10k discount on a lot car brought in from Ontario.

My 0.02 save some $$$ and go to Calgary BMW, PM me and I can give you a name for an excellent sales guy and AMJ_77 got a great deal there too.

GL but buying local is great to support the local dealers, just tougher on the pocketbook

I still haven't put mine on yet, trying to get Conti belts and ditch the NAPA belts

Are you getting another one or just a no-go?
