JUST installed h&r springs....

already getting a great deal of vibration / shaking, but only when im taking a curve turning my steering wheel to the right. i was thinking that it could be my tires/wheels but i also noticed it when i brake hard. i havent gotten an alignment yet because i just got the suspension installed yesterday.

maybe they forgot to tighten a bolt to where the spring isnt settled in all the way??

any ideas??

i had no issues after my springs were installed and i also waited one day to get an alignment. I would have your shop check and make sure everything is tight and torqued correctly

You would only have problems with springs if you installed them incorrectly.

You shouldn't have any vibrations after a spring install, if done correctly and by that I mean everything put back together correctly and torque correctly. I would check the top mount nut on the front struts, that is a bearing and if loose, it would have some vibration on certain movements. I also have H&Rs and I did the install myself with no issues.

Almost three years for me on H&R and have never had the issue you are having now. Something must have been missed on the installation.

It could be related to alignment but most likely it is the hat bolts aren't secured properly, either that or any other bolts attached to the spring perch that were removed to install the springs weren't torqued down correctly.

Have them double check it.
