I'd love to do the same with my NA car but looks like Malek may not be making more after all. Was told i'd know for sure next week. Depressed because I've been waiting for this since June and had my heart set on it. He thinks you can't post a group buy thread on this forum.

Looking forward to your post, be it bittersweet or not. Can you take a video?

Not sure who that is but I welcome any body or thing that can help. I'm hoping to get some great news by the end of this week saying he is starting up production.

Gentlemen,

I have contacted the site administrators here. They have made it pretty clear that they do not prefer group buys because of prior history of group buy issues with vendors. If they change their mind and allow me to do a group buy for these units, I will 100% do that to expedite the pre-ordering process.

We are considering to lowering the pre-order quantity to 5 units to begin production on these units.

I am not sure where the information that we have decided to scrap this project and discontinue this product all together is coming from. Those who have inquired about the mid-section were informed of all details in full.

I assumed this from your latest emails but going back and rereading them I was mistaken. Apologies.

I skimmed a few pages, and didn't seem to find it. What will be the price for this Xpipe?

What justifies a $2600 Dinan x-pipe?

Yeah its definitely not cheap but I'm willing to give it a shot to see if it is what its advertised to be for NA cars. I was going to post dyno runs before and after as well as my honest driving impressions and confirm weight comparisons (OEM 40lbs - MRF 19.6lbs) to share with the board.

Posts #61,75 and 94 give more technical information. The wait has been going on over 2 months with no definite date set. I may end up taking advantage of the Dinan deal if nothing is set in stone by next week.

In your opinion why is Dinan worth 2700 if its the same weight basicly as OEM, OEM/Borla like merge section, increase pipe diameter while leaving headers unchanged? I'm in the market so these are legit questions I have so if you can help its appreciated. Warranty is not in the question here because its a race part.

Again, no argument there. The Dinan mid-pipe (although sounding awesome) is overpriced. My main concern regarding the price is the stiff competition out there, and you can find many, many x-pipes used now due to the end of the e92 platform.

Just my 2 cents...
I hear you but I have a line on a new Dinan for 2k plus shipping so I have to at least consider it at that price. Decent resale is nice too even though I highly doubt it will come off the car once its on.

Everyone that has ran this x-pipe has monster dyno numbers .. i.e - longboarder & esquire there was also a customer with a ESS 550 kit that put down 505whp running the same x-pipe. I'm a believer now lol.

I agree, I just want to see what it does for a bolt-on NA powered car.
