hot laps?

Anyone have an idea what the quickest lap time at PR is on stock brakes and suspension, for the E9X?

Garage List
Dunno, but I ran a 2:06 at The Ridge a few weeks ago (stock brakes, suspension).

I haven't run at the ridge yet. I know carl(dawgdog) has run 1:56s there but he's not on stock brakes or suspension. I know of one other member quicker stock than myself at PR so far. I'm at 1:41:11 and think dipping into the 1:39s is doable. Yesterday I was in the 1:42s but my tires are toast. It was my 9th day on them.

I can't answer this, but for those running at PR and the ridge, are you upgrading pads and fluid on stock brakes? What are you using? I've tracked in my modded WRX with Stoptechs but now I'm in the M and wondering if we can get away with all stock.

I'll be at the BMW club event in Sept.

i have fluid, pads, lines and pedals on stock rotors and calipers. you can get away with stock for a short period but will go thru pads way too fast.

My best time is 1:36:5(dbox recorded) with H&R Lower Spring, Front Porterfield R-4 Brake Pads and rear brakes remain stock, a set of AD08 as well

Damn that is moving. That's close to as fast as a full suspension, brakes and r comps will do out there. I WAS feeling pretty good about running 5 consecutive 1:41s.

My average time is around 36s and 37s. Lol forgot to mention I have the innotech exhaust and voltex gt wing as well, doesn't gain much performance IMO

How do the local dealers respond when you show up with fried brake pads post-track-day? I'm guessing you can't get a new set for free every Monday?

im off warranty, but when i was still on i got several sets of pads. i use ds2500s and rs19s though so im doing my own brakes most of the time anyways. they are fine with doing the work if i pay them. they were aware what i was doing the entire time and never had any issues.
