LX Pipe if you want loud (we might do this setup) :

[u2b]<object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qx_6NLWhOWc&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qx_6NLWhOWc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>[/u2b]

[u2b]<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KBjBP4TNvKU&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KBjBP4TNvKU&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>[/u2b]

Gintani sounds aweome too (heard the full system on niterider's car), so it's a hard choice.

I know, but comparing the full exhaust you heard and your GT2 on your car, what is louder?

I'm sure the Gintani full exhaust is louder because it has an x-pipe than the cat-back SR pipe GT2, but a GT2 with a SR pipe and a LX pipe would be more comparable. I'd have to hear them back to back, but both will be very loud.

Well the thing is the group buy for the Gintani is ending on the 31st and the GT2 full exhaust will drone more and come out much more spendier than $3,400.

Sounds like you should just go with the Gintani.

Go for the Gintani man. I was in a tough position like you before......But after months and months of research, I felt Gintani would be best for me. And I know my Gintani is going to be LOUD.

I'm the friend Dev is talking about. I'm ready to make Dev jealous after my install.

+1 to the other comments, it looks like the Gintani will work out best for you. We'll have to do some sound comparison videos.

If u like it loud, Gintani FTW. My exhaust is catless so it will b louder then a hfc one but I have not heard any M3 louder then mine. lol Many people wont think thats a good thing but I cant get enough of the sound, it sounds incredibly sick. Its a mean, good sounding loud. Even people who hate loud cars have told me they like how my car sounds.

I honestly think I havent gotten an exhaust ticket (knock on wood) because cops like my exhaust sound. They follow me for a few blocks and then just let me keep rolling. Its kinda like best of both worlds, so if they are muscle car fans, I have a v8. If they are european cars, I have a bimmer

However Ive never heard the set up that Alex is talking about so it may be just as loud. Well all I know is u wont b disappointed with the Gintani exhaust, and u cant beat it for that price. I paid full pop on mine because I bought it before they had any gb, but I love it so much I never really cared.

How exactly did this person on the 2nd video do that rev at 2:18 with DCT? Did he just slip it into neutral while moving?

I know its a dumb question, but I used to do that with my 6 speed corvette all the time, just push the clutch and rev, now I have a DCT so im wondering...

I know how hard choosing a exhaust can be. Once I get my exhaust on, I'll try extremely hard & post up of several different vids of my set-up.

Lol...

When in manual mode.. just tap on the left paddle to downshift and the rpm's will jump up and give that sound.

Common sense though.. lol.

Must be the exhaust system. When I downshift I can get it to bark, but the duration of the bark is longer in the vid.

Same with me. Just a real quick bark...in the video it sounds more like he gave it gas, not just downshifted. Sounds like a duration of a few thousand rpms..
