Out of that list, I'd go with HRE, Morr or Forgeline. I bought my HRE's used, and my dealings with them were still first class (needed new caps). Really great customer service, highly recommended

I would like the HREs most but i need to get quotes

It would be a no brainer if a used set came up but unfortunately the car i am putting it on has probably never had a hre set ever built for it in the world so would be a first requiring custom pcd etc so buying new is the only way

Unless of course they were willing to do a special discount for a first ever which i doubt

Unfortunately all forged wheels are expensive and when paying im all about quality so would rather save up if it isn't much more than all the others as customer service counts for a lot too

If only there was a cast variant too for lower end applications in this design but still reputable like bbs do with their cast rims

If I am spending big $$$$ on a wheel (or even if I am not), a wheel is a part that can easily get damaged. One of the most overlooked considerations is how easy would the wheel be to replace. From this standpoint, for a high-end forged wheel, HRE wins, hands down. (and their quality doesn't exactly suck either)

I've owned a bunch of wheels over the years and hre and forgelines have been my favorites (currently own forgelines). Got the forgelines from Mike at VAC. GL with your decision.

They seem to be at the top of my list too

Just waiting on quotes and then can choose which way to go depending on how far apart each one is cost wise

I believe Forgline get their forged blanks from Japan while I'm pretty most if not all the companies you listed source theirs from China.

If I'm wrong please correct me.
ADV1/MHT/NICHE/HRE/MORR source their forgings from APP and ASA. Both US companie, not china. Forgeline uses centerline forgings, which is another US company, not Japan. Just to correct you.

Good to know.
You are 100% sure about your info??

These might be US companies, but where are they getting their materials? It's good to have this info.

Yes. 100-percent. APP and ASA are the main suppliers of aluminum wheel forgings in the US. They manufacture the forgings in house so they are US-sourced parts.

i've heard too many bad things on ADV1 and DPE (although they look freaking bad ass and over priced) and would never buy those. Especially DPE, where there wer so many posts on quality control....even my buddy who is close with the founder of DPE got shoddy wheels and had terrible QC, and terrible replacements....now he just lives with not being able to drive hard on it and knowing to refill the air every once in a while LOL (Audi drivers )

I would go tried and true with great rep any top manufacturing jdm wheel, bbs, HRE for me only. Aren't most of the newer bbs wheels made in japan as well?

the funny thing is, half of your list aren't even forged....

Which ones aren't forged?

And i agree the jap ones were my first port of call but don't offer the design i want and bbs dont either. Hre do but they are the most expensive obviously

Just out of curiousity does anyone know a normal cast wheel that is in 19 and the same design as the ones listed as i can find every design that forged wheels offer in cast apart from the split 5 spoke design im my OP.

The only cast wheel that comes close is the incurve sc5 but starts in 20" above

HRE FTW. HRE is head and shoulders above the competition in areas such as finishes available, customization, design, quality and customer service. I can't say enough good things about them.
