Quick & Urgent question ;-)

does the 08 M3 read DVD movies, or is that DVD player just for the navigation CD?
Thx, Sadd.

No, it was another guy who got his car at the same time. I finally started reading the owners manual today. I think you need a Masters degree in electronics to understand all this shit. The new I drive is the easy part!

My 08 E92 M3 shows a DVD menu on the screen when I access the CD menu with iDrive, so I thought it would play a DVD, but when I tried to watch a DVD, nothing show up! so I guess it's just a teaser!

Bring a 10' DVD player with you if you want to watch movie in the car!

08 M3 DVD drive and idrive doesn't have the required MPEG decoder to play movies I heard while the 09 M3 DVD drive does. Probably just a software update IF BMW decides to put it in there as a patch.
