my car will be delivered to the dealer on march 10th, but the dealer don't want to sell it to me until march 15th, why is that?

Yes, I did notice some orange peel. It deons't really show in the pics, but you can see it IRL.

Thanks everyone for all your comments. I love the car so far (although I only drove it for 10 miles so far...been raining all day Friday and Saturday).

The Comforat Access is very cool, and works nicely with the alarm. The Ambiance Lighting in the interior really has to be seen in person...the cabin looks amazing at night! This weekend I have to figure out how to program everything, especially the M Mode programs. If anyone has any tips, please let me know.

If it is anything like my 2008 335, then I can say that to me it appears much worse in photos. In real life, if you look for it, you will see it, but it is not a deal breaker for me. There is more orange peel evident on the sides of the car as opposed to the hood and deck lid.

Do not expect the same paint quality as your Porsche. I have owned a few 997s and the quality is no where near Porsche's level. No insult to the M intended, but that is how I see it. Sadly, I have seen many lesser priced cars with less orange peel.

I agree, at a distance its not even noticeable, it has to be pretty close to your face before you can tell. Photographs pick up the orange peel easier than the eye too.

I color sanded mine. It didn't have much orange peel, but with all new cars I have them color sanded and then polished. Looks much better on any car if you have it done.
