Tel buttons not working?

Morning guys;

Quick question for you. I recently bought a 335 w/ nav and I have been trying to get my bluetooth phone to work. For some reason, I have no "telephone" selection in the main menu of the iDrive and also when I push the "tel" button on the wheel or on the console, nothing happens. Am I missing something here?

cheers

100% sure of that along w/ the fact my car does have BT (on the sticker). My phone is also one of the approved BT phone listed on BMW's site (Moto Atrix).

thx.

Did you setup your your phone for bluetooth?

You might just have to go into the dealer to reprogram the software.

This. I looked back at my question and noticed I didn't state it correctly. I meant did you setup your phone for bluetooth and paired to the car, not just setup bluetooth on your phone.

If he doesn't have the "telephone" section in his iDrive menu then he doesn't have bluetooth - although he would still have the button on the steering wheel.

BT is part of the "BMW Assist w/enhanced BT & USB" portion of the premium package. If he didn't get premium then he may not have BT if he has an earlier build.

Most recently, adding nav also adds BMW Assist/BT but that price has also increased to $2150 from the $1900 earlier price that did not include the Assist/BT.
