deleted - and no my car did not fly off the road at 150mph...and I am sure it will not at 160mph either.....330i and 335i do not have spoilers and their top speed is 155mph so not too concerned..

As I stated earlier, the spoiler is not for downforce but to reduce drag, so you will not fly off the road if you don't have it. A slight fuel mileage penalty at higher speeds is likely the main result of deleting it.

I would love to delete it.....it just gives a much smoother and cleaner look from the rear (deleting "M3" badge) but my SA says it is proven from BMW to provide 20 lbs. of downforce over 60 mph. I cannot find this as factual anywere. or at least on the internet. i am keeping it for now, but i am still doing research. After driving a 335 for 2 years and reaching 155 mph, the handling was still awsome! I guess if you buy an M3, you are not to worried about fuel mileage!!

Alternative spoiler

I installed this 3D Design one, which I think is pretty classy but a little more unique: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...Design+spoiler.
