Oh damn, sorry to hear that dude.

Been there, done that...

What wheels did you end up getting, and what are the offsets?

I'm not really that versed in wheel offsets, but i'll give it a shot...i ordered cf fives from 360 forged and as far as i know the mount flush without spacers

Okay, well that a good start...

But maybe there is a build sheet, card, or receipt with the offset values printed on them. (possibly packed inside the box or attached to the outside)

360 Forged feels that their wheels have some magical offset, so they will not tell you what it is. You could buy new tires that are known to be thinner than the PS2's. I would suggest Invos. I had 295/25/20 & 255/30/20's on my car not that long ago on my car with 20x9 ET20 & 20x10 ET25 wheels. There was no rubbing at all, and I was lowered on H&R's.

Well that sounds about right...

He says the wheels are suppossed to fit "flush" without spacers so I'm figuring the offset is supper aggressive front and rear.

Now he needs to tell us the front wheel size (20x9?) and the rear wheel size. (20x10.5?)

Sorry, I read that wrong. 360 Forged built my wheels too aggressive in the rears to begin with, and they rubbed. They were rebuilt by them, and now there is no rubbing. The had to decrease the size of the rear lip from a 4.5" to a 4".

I don't think that's right. The rolling diameter of 285/25/20 is too small compared to stock. I believe 285/30/20 or 295/25/20 are better choices.

Go with 245-30 & 285-30. If you use Nito Invo, you can do 255-30 but that's the only 255 that I know won't cause rubbing on liner.

It's much easier to eliminate the rubbing by telling the customer to use a tire that is too short than it is to risk having to rebuild the rear wheels

If you asked for the aggresive fitment from 360 your tire options are going slim. This is going to happen with any wheel you get an aggresive fitment on. Thats why they usually suggest Invo's as those are the tires they used to take their measurements.

I used a Dunlop 285/30 which would rub, but CatchM3 uses a 285/30 which doesnt rub (not sure the brand). I went with 285/25 just to be on the safe side. I can tell your a 285/30 Invo will not rub. PS2 dont have the smallest sidewalls so thats probably why you are getting rubbing.

i went with nitto invo's 255/30 & 285/25, scott at 360 said that a 295 would work but nobody around town had them, which is starnge because i've been to nittos wherehouse, i know most of the other tire wherehouse(tire rack, kumho, kings, etc) for tires are in the L.A. area too...so i guess they're just short.

fyi i also looked into the hankook v12's & dunlops star, the dunlops are not made in that size and the v12's are set to be produced just not yet.

FYI, i ordered the PS2"s by getting info off this form, no where else....i didn't know that the same size tire form different company's would result in 2 different sizes(overall diameter)...this is really the first time that i haven't got my wheels with tires already on them....so forgive the lack of kowledge

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the same size tires from different companies will result in a different rolling diameter. What will differ is the actual tread width and sidewall shape. For example, one company's 285 width tire may be rounded/tapered more at the edges and/or have a smaller tread contact patch than another company's 285 width tire (although the overall widths are the same)--a tire with a more rounded/tapered sidewall will be less likely to rub b/c it will taper at the fender area.

overall diameter should be the same (or very close) for any one size in different brand tires...for example 285/30 should have the same overall diameter regardless if its dunlop, nitto, etc...but rubbing is usually more related to width/sidewall differneces between sizes.

I just dont want the OP to get side tracked with "360 strikes again" blah blah blah...any wheel with an aggresive fitment will be tricky when trying to run an aggresive tire size as well...you have to find the correct brand that will suit your needs...ask anyone running the extreme fitment bbs lm-r (i think thats the model) you need to run specific tires (meaning low side wall, etc), negative camber, etc to get them to fit without rubbing

btw 360 isnt the only company that doesnt release their offsets...MANY companys do the same

thank you, i never had an issue with 360, it was my lack of knowledge and trust in the forum that led to buying the PS2's...When i should of asked 360 what size tire they recommend for my wheels

Really? Which wheel manufacturers don't release wheel offsets to their own customers?
