19" m6 wheels

i am getting a set of m6 replica wheels with 35 offset in front and 20 offset in rear. do these offsets sound right? it is the exact set up my friend put on his 07 m coupe and it looks awesome. just wondering if it will work on my much larger m3 sedan.

We'll need to know your wheel width to determine if the wheels will fit. Don't get replicas man! They're a waste of time. You get what you pay for.

You can fit the REAL M6 wheels (which are actually FORGED, not cast) on your M3. They fit like a glove with stock tire sizes. I'm using 255/35R19 up front for my winter setup and have some slight rubs with full turns, but the Bridgestone Blizzaks are wider and more square on the edges. PM me if you want a hook up, I got mine for $1500 a set, which is really good considered these are forged rims.

$1500 is a GREAT price for those wheels.

I love the M6 wheels on other BMWs, they always look so good.

Google wheel offset calculator and then put the #'s in and you'll see what the changes will be. We need to know the wheel width to be able to tell you how much it will change.

Based on the info you gave us, the front wheels will sit too far IN and need at least a 5mm spacer to bring it out to OEM look. If you want it to look flush, you probably need a 20mm spacer to bring it out in the front.

The back is fine as it is coz it's close to OEM spec or you can use a 5mm spacer to bring it out a tad.

I won't do replicas because they are CAST rims, which are heavier and weaker than the forged rims. Assuming that you have the 19" 220M rims on your M3, you'll be downgrading to a more inferior rim. The replicas are still close to 1K a set and the real ones that are light and forged is only 500 more, which makes it a no brainer what you should be getting.
