VREDESTEIN Ultrac Sessanta?

Has anyone had any experience with these tires. If so how did you like there performance and ride/noise quality? I'm interested in getting a set because I'm at 9,000 miles and my rears are almost done. they have a much better price compared to PS2's but I'm worried that they might not compare to the PS's in performance and ride quality.

they are fantastic tires and for those who have them they will say the same. if you read some recent tire test and reviews you will see that the vreds perform equal to or outperform the ps2 depending on the review; but more importantly what i am trying to say is that they are up there.

they are a great bargain tire from a growing dutch tire company.

Sick tires. I have them on right now and I'm loving them. Very quiet and the car basically rides very factory.

Highly recommend them.

I love PS2s, but at half the price and higher treadwear index (280 vs, 220), I might have to give them a try. My rears are gone. The Guigiaro designed tread is kind of cool, too.

Applicable sizes in 19s are:

245/35 ZR 19 93 Y XL
255/35 ZR 19 96 Y XL
275/35 ZR 19 100 Y XL
295/30 ZR 19 100 Y XL

Unfortunately, no 19" 285s. Nothing wider than a 255 in 40-series 18s. And no dealers in Oregon.

Thanks for the info.
And at HALF the price , that's a DEAL!!!

These guys are local to me, and are a nice shop to deal with.

http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...678#prodAnchor

$219 for a 295/30-19!!

Interesting . . . the reviews are consistently positive, and ratings are very high. I did a quick Google search, but was not able to locate detailed specs.

Has anyone located weight, height, and width data for these for comparison to PS2s in the sizes we're likely to use (245-255/35/19 and 265-275/35/19)?

I've sent a query to tires-easy.com.

Wow. I just got off the phone with the dealer by my house. He gave me a VERY aggressive price for these. May be good margin in these tires for him to go that way. Or, he just needs the business. Think I'll be doing these for sure. Just not sure about the size

Check this out lucid...this talks about the wet traction in their review a little bit. Greg originally posted the link
