The driving dynamics are going to change and feel more mid engined. That is what is really getting me interested in the new 991. Plus, it looks GORGEOUS! I foam at the mouth when looking at all the new vids hitting the internet. |

Thank you for the input! I will be test driving one soon. They document the GTS with PDK at 4.2 0-60.

The car is really the last harrah for the 997.2. The car looks nice now, but the value is going to crater when the 991 is out. Lease it maybe. It would be crazy to buy a new one now, unless you really have money to burn. I guess many people do.

The GTS is a beautiful car but the prices of those cars at the dealerships were all in the neighborhood of around $120K which is a bit too much for me. I would not mind picking up a slightly used one for $80K or so. |

With the 991 coming out its probably a smart move to lease (not buy) the GTS.
I heard the C4 GTS will be very limted, but the C2 GTS you can find anywhere. This means you can get probably work the dealer over for an 8% discount on the C2 GTS, but wont likley get anymore then 1500-2000 off of the C4 GTS. With a used 2010 GT3 in the 108-112 range it is a tought choice. The GTS is positioned as a more friendly daily driver- not as harsh as the GT3. But you cant lease a used GT3 so if your worried about the car dropping in value when the 991 comes out that could be a concern. Some good vids and write ups of the GTS: http://www.worldcarfans.com/11105123...nother-variant http://m.motortrend.com/roadtests/co...est/index.html |

Nice car... Over $110,000 for a base GTS! $120,000 for the cabriolet! That's a lot for a souped up Beetle.
Just kidding. Love the C4 GTS. P Cars rule...
