I used to get the revving engine all the time back when I owned my corvette. Now that I have just got my M3 I will have to wait until spring to experience all the attention. Put away under it's cover for winter.

This is the dumbest thing i ever heard, about 75% of BMW drivers are yuppie upper class people and don't know a M3 from a regular 3 series, an additional 20% are 335i owners that think they are the shit and with a tune their car is on par with an M. The remaining could care less either way....LOL

I either live live in the wrong part of town for this, or just don't pay attention. I've never experienced anyone being "obnoxious", and the very few folks that have wanted to race have been a Mini (seriously?) and a Porsche Boxster S on a winding road that got his ass handed to him

Otherwise, nothing but a few compliments.

I have to say the 335i drivers in NY are not that obnoxious. I'll got 1 or 2 the most, but Accura and G37 in the other hand I get consistently. I just pay them no mind...Pop my collar up and drive like the Fonz...

Don't ever look down a Mini cooper (especially the S version)
I guess you have no idea how fast they are around the track. It can actually keep up with the M3s...
You need to research how fast a Mini can go

El Paso to Vegas and back on a romantic getaway. Noticed cars racing to catch up and I think to just see it up close. A few were trying to bait us into a race but we smiled and kept our pace a few miles down the road he was pulled over

+1... and the Mini S may keep up on an autocross course but not a road course like Laguna Seca or Sears Point with equivalent drivers. (I've driven both cars stock on Sears).

I have to say that I DEFINATELY experience this. I have my e46 as a daily driver (19's, H&R cup kit, tint). (no issues with drivers)

Ever since I picked up my new e92 M3 2 weeks ago - whenever I take it out...I get the 335's cutting me off and other cars on my A$$ - other bmws also....oh well - just have to learn to ignore them.
