What's the max mileage typical for supercharged M3's before needing a rebuild?
Is the life-expectancy of the engine reduced due to the supercharger?

Depends on how the car is driven. 200K out of an S/C car that takes a beating is stretching it as far as I'm concerned.

It looking like 100,000 miles with a s/c is when rod bearings are needing to be checked. Everything else will be good to go. But oil changes and letting the car warm up play into life of the engine big time

Depending on what kit, and the life the car sees (track use etc..) sure. But if you do 10 or less track days a year, rest assured.

Not same engine but a one known for having lots of bearing issues was the E46 M3. I had about 160k on mine and was supercharged, tracked it frequently and was SMG. Not a single problem when I had it. They last, proper maintenance is the key

This +1. Now listen to this. Just came from the dealer with a clients M3 and was denied maintenace service oil change due to "only having 20,500km on the oil and we do not want to see it until 24,000km"!! This will cause the problems that some have experienced and hardly is preventitive maintenance.

BMW Canada allows a once a year low KM oil/filter change regardless of the amount from previous when the vehicle is still under factory warranty. No wonder your shop does so well with morons like that at the dealership.

I completely agree regarding getting in between oil changes! But fyi, BMW is required to do it for you either after 15,000 miles (25,000km or whatever) OR 1 year. Atleast for me, my M3 isn't my DD, so it's only getting about 7000 miles/year. So BMW is doing the free oil changes early for me.

Yep, this M is at 11 months and 20,500km. So no oil change(warranty). I am just pointing how many of these cars will be seeing well over 20,000km or 12,000+ miles on a oil service. Scary
