How Low?
I have a 2012 M3 that has the comp pkg lowering the vehicle 10mm. I was wondering if anyone would recommend dropping it a bit more? I like the stance of the vehicle but would like it lower. I don't want to put the vehicle at risk or lose handling! Not sure if it is possible. Any input is much appreciated.

Same dilema may want to drop bit more yet not willing to give up anything. Going lower requires some sacrifice just not sure which one I want to make.

The biggest risk is damage from debris and bad road patches. I think handling isn't compromised by a little drop, if you also replace the bump stops with shorter ones.

This means, if you change the OEM springs for something like H&R springs, which, say, give a 25mm drop on the front of the car, you're actually going to be a total of 25mm + 10mm = 35mm lower than an OEM non-competition pack car. |
