How Low?

I have a 2012 M3 that has the comp pkg lowering the vehicle 10mm. I was wondering if anyone would recommend dropping it a bit more? I like the stance of the vehicle but would like it lower. I don't want to put the vehicle at risk or lose handling! Not sure if it is possible. Any input is much appreciated.

I went from competition package springs to H&R Sport Springs. This is what they looked like on 18" wheels:

Hope that helps.

Same dilema may want to drop bit more yet not willing to give up anything. Going lower requires some sacrifice just not sure which one I want to make.

The biggest risk is damage from debris and bad road patches. I think handling isn't compromised by a little drop, if you also replace the bump stops with shorter ones.

I could be wrong, but from what I understand, there's no such thing as "Competition package springs". The springs are the same on a competition pack car as a non-competition pack car. The 10mm drop comes from a different spring perch.

This means, if you change the OEM springs for something like H&R springs, which, say, give a 25mm drop on the front of the car, you're actually going to be a total of 25mm + 10mm = 35mm lower than an OEM non-competition pack car.
